What is man, that You should magnify him, that You should set Your heart upon him,

Tremble, and sin not; commune within your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.

And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them; but His mother kept all these words in her heart.

Thus all Israel shall hear and fear, and not again do such wickedness as this among you.

Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; thus you shall put away the evil from among you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.

Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Now these things became examples for us, so that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.

But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after other flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
