My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.

My son, if you will receive my words, and treasure up my commandments within you,

Children, hear the instruction of a father, and pay attention to know understanding,

And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, Son, be of good courage; your sins are forgiven you.

Then Jesus said to them, Children, you do not have any fish, do you? They answered Him, No.

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice; and he who begets a wise child shall be glad because of him.

Your father and your mother shall be glad, and she who bore you shall rejoice.

The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a father rejoice, but a foolish son is a grief to his mother.

A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish man despises his mother.

Whoever loves wisdom causes his father to rejoice; but a companion of harlots wastes wealth.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming.

For you are our glory and joy.

For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.

For what thanks can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God,

I rejoiced greatly because I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
