Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.

For they sow the wind, and they reap the whirlwind. It has no stalk; the bud shall yield no flour. If it should happen to produce, strangers will swallow it up.

You have plowed wickedness; you have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men.

Do not be led astray, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap eternal life.

In the mouth of the fool is a rod of pride, but the lips of the wise shall keep them.

For the scepter of the wicked shall not rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, that the righteous not reach out their hands to iniquity.

For You have broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his taskmaster, as in the day of Midian.

For through the voice of Jehovah, Assyria shall be beaten down, as struck with a rod.
