There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and the man was perfect and upright, and one who feared God and turned away from evil.

So Jehovah blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

Trust in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness.

For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait upon Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.

But the lowly shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, and those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

The righteous shall inherit the earth, and dwell in it forever.

For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk in integrity.

Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

Surely he shall never be shaken; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
