So my righteousness shall testify for me in time to come, when the subject of my wages comes before you: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the lambs, will be considered stolen, if it is with me.

Although you have searched all my things, what of your household articles have you found? Set it here before my brethren and your brethren, that they may judge between us both!

Look at me. Witness against me before Jehovah and before His anointed: Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I received any bribe with which to blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.

And they said, You have not cheated us nor oppressed us, nor have you taken anything from any man's hand.

His own iniquities shall capture the wicked, and he shall be held with the cords of his sin.
