And Moses said to him, As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Jehovah. The thunder shall cease, and there shall be no more hail; that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.

And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh. And Moses cried out to Jehovah concerning the frogs which He had brought against Pharaoh.

And he went out from Pharaoh and entreated Jehovah.

And Jehovah turned a very strong wind from the west, which took the locusts away and blew them into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the territory of Egypt.

Elijah was a man with feelings like ours, and he prayed to God that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.

And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth sprouted its fruit.
