And Jehovah said to Moses, When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. And I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.

And Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not heed them, as Jehovah had said.

And Jehovah said to Moses: Pharaoh's heart is hard; he refuses to let the people go.

But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me.

So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels.

And the fifth angel poured out his bowl onto the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.

And they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.
