And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. And there were lice upon man and beast.

Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of everyone. And they counted up the value of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.

So the Word of the Lord grew mightily and was powerful.
