And you shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, Take heed to yourselves that you do not go up to the mountain nor touch its border. Whoever touches the mountain shall be executed to death.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go down and warn the people, that they not break through to gaze at Jehovah, and many of them be attacked.

And Moses said to Aaron, This is what Jehovah has spoken, saying: By those who come near Me I will be honored as holy, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron kept still.

(For they could not endure what was commanded: And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.

And Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I did not realize it.

And he was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of Heaven!

And the Commander of the army of Jehovah said to Joshua, Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you are standing is holy. And Joshua did so.

Guard your feet when you go to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools. For they do not know that they are doing evil.

Then the Lord said to him, Loosen the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.
