And you shall make a screen for the opening of the tent, of violet, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine twisted linen, the product of skillful weaving.

He set up the screen at the door of the tabernacle.

and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tent of meeting.

And Moses said to the congregation, This is what Jehovah has commanded to be done.

You shall also make a laver of bronze, its base also of bronze, with which to wash. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar. And you shall put water in it,

When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering by fire with smoke unto Jehovah, they shall wash with water, that they not die.

And you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting and wash them with water.

And Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.

And he who is being cleansed shall wash his clothes, shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, and shall remain outside his tent seven days.

But it shall be, when evening comes, that he shall wash with water; and when the sun sets, he shall come into the camp.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your defilement and from all your idols.

Peter said to Him, You shall certainly not ever wash my feet! Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.

Jesus said to him, He who is bathed has no other need than to wash his feet, but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not everyone.

that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word,

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

There is also an antitype which now saves us; immersion (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

and from Jesus Christ, the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn out from the dead, and the Ruler over the kings of the earth; to Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

and has made us kings and priests to God, even His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
