And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and prostrate yourselves from a distance.

And Moses went up, along with Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

the well the rulers dug, dug by the nobles of the people, by the Lawgiver, with their staffs. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah,

Then the remnant came down and had dominion over the kings of the nations; for me Jehovah trod down the mighty.

And she wrote letters in Ahab's name, sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and the nobles who were dwelling in the city with Naboth.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go down and warn the people, that they not break through to gaze at Jehovah, and many of them be attacked.

But He said, You are not able to see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.

So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.

And Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the dawn began to rise.

And He said, Let Me go, for the dawn has risen. But he said, I will not let You go unless You bless me!

And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have persevered with God and with men, and have prevailed.

And Jacob called the name of the place Penuel: For I have seen God face to face, and my soul is delivered.

Therefore to this day the children of Israel do not eat the muscle tendon which is on the hip socket, because He touched the socket of Jacob's hip on the muscle tendon.

Has any people ever heard the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and lived?

And Manoah said to his wife, We shall die the death, because we have seen God!

and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the essence of the heavens in its clarity.

And she called the name of Jehovah who spoke to her, God-Who-Sees; for she said, Have I also here looked upon Him who sees me?

And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices unto God. And Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.

since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

And Jacob slaughtered a sacrifice on the mountain, and called his brethren to eat bread. And they ate bread and stayed all night on the mountain.

And there you shall eat before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which Jehovah your God has blessed you.

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.

And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry;

for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the fellowship of the blood of Christ. The bread which we break, is it not the fellowship of the body of Christ.

Observe Israel after the flesh: Are not those who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
