Speak to the children of Israel: When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit in unfaithfulness against Jehovah, and that soul is guilty,

then they shall confess the sin which they have done. He shall make restitution for his trespass in full, add a fifth to it, and give it to the one he has wronged.

When anyone sins against his neighbor, and is required to take an oath, and has come to swear an oath before Your altar in this house,

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and reprove him between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

Thus My Heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.

Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, who fear God, men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place these over them as rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, and they shall bear the burden with you.

You shall not thrust aside the justice of your needy one in his dispute.

And you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and perverts the words of the righteous.

You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which Jehovah your God gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.

You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

If there is a dispute between men, and they come to court, that the judges may judge them, and they justify the righteous and condemn the wicked,

Whatever case comes to you from your brethren who dwell in their cities, whether of bloodshed or offenses against Law or commandment, against statutes or ordinances, you shall warn them, that they not trespass against Jehovah and wrath come upon you and your brethren. Do this, and you shall not be guilty.

If the thing stolen is found in his possession alive in his hand, whether it is an ox or donkey or sheep, he shall restore double.

If a man delivers to his neighbor money or articles to keep, and it is stolen out of the man's house, if the thief is found, he shall restore double.
