And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes; and he took torches, turned tail to tail, and put a torch between the two tails.

When he had set the torches on fire, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, as well as the vineyards and olive groves.

So he said to his servants, Behold, Joab's field is near mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom's servants set the field on fire.

Then Joab arose and came to Absalom's house, and said to him, Why have your servants set my field on fire?

For any kind of trespass, whether it be an ox, a donkey, a sheep, or clothing, or for any kind of lost item which another says is his, the matter of both of them shall come before the judges; and whomever the judges declare guilty shall restore double to his neighbor.

But if, in fact, it is stolen from him, he shall make restitution to the owner of it.

And if a man opens a pit, or if a man digs a pit and does not cover it, and an ox or a donkey falls into it,

the owner of the pit shall make compensation; he shall give money to the owner, and the dead animal shall be his.
