If the thief is not found, then the master of the house shall be brought to the judges to see whether he has put his hand into his neighbor's goods.

For any kind of trespass, whether it be an ox, a donkey, a sheep, or clothing, or for any kind of lost item which another says is his, the matter of both of them shall come before the judges; and whomever the judges declare guilty shall restore double to his neighbor.

For this let everyone who is godly pray unto You, in a time when You may be found; surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near him.

Then Paul said, I did not know, brethren, that he was the high priest; for it is written, You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.

Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will receive judgment on themselves.

For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey superiors, to be ready for every good work,

to speak evil of no one, not being a brawler, but fair, showing all meekness to all men.

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries.

Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, despise rulership, and speak evil of dignitaries.
