If a man strikes the eye of his male or female servant, and destroys it, he shall let him go free in exchange for his eye.

And if he knocks out the tooth of his male or female servant, he shall let him go free for his tooth.

If a man causes a blemish to his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him;

break for break, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has given a blemish to a man, so shall it be done to him.

Your eye shall not pity: soul for soul, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over it will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

for they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, for they are deserving.
