None of them can at all redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him

that he might yet live forever and never see the pit.

For I know that You will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

For that which happens to the sons of men also happens to beasts, even one thing happens to them. As this one dies, so that one dies; yea, they all have one breath; so that a man has no advantage over a beast; for all is vanity.

All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all return to dust again.

No one has power over the spirit to restrain the spirit; nor power in the day of death; and there is no discharge from that war; nor shall wickedness deliver its owners.

For the living know that they shall die; but the dead do not know anything, nor do they have any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

then the dust shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.

And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment,

Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone keeps My Word he shall certainly never ever see death.

By faith Enoch was translated so that he did not see death, and was not found, because God had translated him; for before he was translated he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But God will redeem my soul from the hand of Sheol; for He will carry me away. Selah.

For You will not leave My soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up through Jesus, and will present us with you.
