Jehovah has sworn and will not regret it: You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

But we owe thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,

in hope of eternal life which God, who is without lie, promised before the beginning of time,
