with trumpets and the sound of a shofar; shout joyfully before Jehovah, the King.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying:

When they blow with them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the tent of meeting.

When you sound the alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall then set out.

And when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but not sound the alarm.

And when you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before Jehovah your God, and you shall be delivered from your enemies.

Sounding the trumpets before the ark of God: Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests. Doorkeepers for the ark: Obed- Edom and Jehiah.

and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests continually with the trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God.

and with them Heman and Jeduthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals and the instruments of song of God; and the sons of Jeduthun were gatekeepers.

and the Levites who were singing, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, were standing to the east of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, lutes and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding the trumpets;

Now behold, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against Jehovah the God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper.

And when Judah looked around, behold the battle was before and behind them; and they cried out unto Jehovah, and the priests were sounding the trumpets.

Speak to the children of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath observance, a memorial of shouting with trumpet blasts, a holy convocation.

You shall do no labor of work; and you shall offer an offering by fire unto Jehovah.

Also in the day of your gladness, at your appointed times, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be a memorial for you before your God: I am Jehovah your God.

At the beginnings of your months you shall present a burnt offering unto Jehovah: two young bulls, one ram, and seven lambs of the first year, that are whole;

And he said, Why are you going to him today? It is neither the new moon nor the sabbath. And she said, It will be well.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,

and you make an offering by fire unto Jehovah, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or in your appointed times, to make a soothing aroma unto Jehovah, from the herd or the flock,

Seven days you shall keep a feast unto Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah chooses, because Jehovah your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you shall be joyful.

behold, I am building a house for the name of Jehovah my God, to consecrate it to Him, to burn before Him spiced incense, for the continual Bread in Rows, for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Jehovah our God, continually in Israel;

according to the matter of each day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the three appointed yearly feasts; the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Booths.

And He has done violence to His pavilion like it were a garden, and has destroyed His meeting places. Jehovah has caused the appointed meetings and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and He has despised the king and the priest in the indignation of His anger.

Behold, on the mountains the feet of Him bearing good tidings, proclaiming, Peace! O Judah, keep your feasts; fulfill your vows; for the wicked will no more pass through you; he is completely cut off.
