Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth.

And Asa cried out unto Jehovah his God, and said, Jehovah, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no strength; help us, O Jehovah our God, for we have trusted on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Jehovah, though our iniquities testify against us, work for Your name's sake; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against You.

Do not abhor us; for Your name's sake do not disgrace the throne of Your glory; remember, do not break Your covenant with us.

But I acted for My name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they were, in whose sight I had made Myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
