i1 [Maschil of Asaph.] i0 par O God, have You cast us off forever? Will Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?

For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:

Know that Jehovah, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

I will make Your name to be remembered from generation to generation; therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Jehovah, and that the foolish people have blasphemed Your name.

Arise, O God, plead Your own case; remember the daily reproaches of the fool.

One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts.

This people that I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.
