And the hand of Jehovah was heavy upon those of Ashdod, and He ravaged them and struck them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territories.

So they said, What is the trespass offering which we shall return to Him? And they answered, Five golden tumors and five golden mice, according to the number of the rulers of the Philistines. For the same plague was upon all of you and upon your rulers.

Look upon everyone who is proud, and humble him; tread down the wicked in their place.

And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
