He also chose David His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;

So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they reported to David, saying, The men of Jabesh Gilead were the ones who buried Saul.

So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before Jehovah. And they anointed David king over Israel.

Thus David reigned over all Israel; and David was executing justice and righteousness to all his people.

The God of Israel has said, the Rock of Israel has spoken to me: He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, a morning without clouds, like the tender grass springing out of the earth, by clear shining after rain.

I said in my heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

And He said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.

because He has established a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has appointed. He has given assurance of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.
