Arise, O Jehovah; let not man prevail. Let the nations be judged before Your face.

Put them in fear, O Jehovah; let the nations know that they are but men. Selah.

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; and rescue us, and make atonement for our sins, for Your name's sake!

Why should the nations say, Where is their God? Let it be known among the nations in our sight, the avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Jehovah, and that the foolish people have blasphemed Your name.

I said to the boastful, Do not deal boastfully; and to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn;

do not lift up your horn on high; nor speak with a stiff neck.

Remember, O Lord, the reproachs of Your Servant, which I bear in My bosom, of all the many peoples,

with which Your enemies have reproached, O Jehovah, with which they have reproached the heel of Your Anointed.

Now therefore, what have I here, says Jehovah, that My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule make them howl, says Jehovah; and My name is continually blasphemed every day.
