i1 [A Psalm of David.] i0 par The earth is Jehovah's, and the fullness of it; the world, and those who dwell in it.

For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.

When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell everywhere on the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good, giving us rain from the heavens and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
