How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my inner being daily? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to those who are around us.

How long, Jehovah? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?

How long, Jehovah? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your fury burn like fire?

Remember, O Lord, the reproachs of Your Servant, which I bear in My bosom, of all the many peoples,

with which Your enemies have reproached, O Jehovah, with which they have reproached the heel of Your Anointed.

And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was on the waters of the river, How long will it be until the end of these wonders?

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
