Behold, I and the children whom Jehovah has given me, are for signs and for wonders in Israel, from Jehovah of Hosts who dwells in Mount Zion.

And the Angel of Jehovah admonished Joshua, saying,

And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they understood that they were with Jesus.

For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we became spectacles to all creation, both to angels and to men.

We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

So then death is working in us, but life in you.

through honor and dishonor, through evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength; my refuge is in God.

Look on my right hand and see, for there is no one who acknowledges me; refuge has vanished from me; no one cares for my soul.

I cried out unto You, O Jehovah: I said, You are my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

O Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
