Jehovah stands up to plead His case, and stands up to judge the peoples.

Lift up Your feet to the perpetual desolations, even all the evil the enemy has done in the sanctuary.

O Jehovah, Mighty God, to whom vengeance belongs; O Mighty God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth!

Be exalted, O Judge of the earth; restore recompense to the proud.

Now I will arise, says Jehovah; now I will be exalted; now I will lift up Myself.

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are Jehovah, You alone.

Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise! Do not cast us off forever.

You therefore, O Jehovah the God of Hosts, the God of Israel, awake and punish all the nations; do not be merciful to any wicked traitors. Selah.

like a dream when one awakes; so, O Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image.

Jehovah executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.

So Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For Jehovah had purposed to frustrate the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that Jehovah might bring calamity upon Absalom.
