And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel, for Jehovah is fighting for them against the Egyptians.

And they killed the kings of Midian with the rest of those who were killed; Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. Balaam the son of Beor they also killed with the sword.

And the sons of Israel took the women of Midian captive, with their little ones, and took as spoils all their cattle, all their flocks, and all their wealth.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest received the gold from the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tent of meeting as a memorial for the children of Israel before Jehovah.

But these five kings had fled and hidden themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

All these kings and their land Joshua took at one time, because Jehovah the God of Israel, fought for Israel.

And these are the kings of the land which Joshua and the sons of Israel conquered on this side of the Jordan, on the west, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon as far as Mount Halak and the ascent to Seir, which Joshua gave to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their divisions,

in the mountains, in the lowlands, in the plains, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the south; the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:

the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;

the king of Aphek, one; the king of Sharon, one;

the king of Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;

the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;

the king of Tirzah, one. All the kings, thirty-one.

The kings came and fought, then the kings of Canaan fought in Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of silver.

And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of the heavens, Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,

And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

and divide the booty between those who took part in the war who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

For who will heed you in this matter? But as his part is who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share together.
