When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people,

He permitted no one to do them wrong; yea, He reproved kings for their sakes,

Jehovah shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

And Moses wrote down the starting places of their journeys at the mouth of Jehovah. And these are their journeys according to their starting places:

For the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom Jehovah had struck among them. Also upon their gods Jehovah had executed judgments.

They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.

They set out from before Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and camped at Marah.

They set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.

They set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah.

They set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.

They set out from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah.

They set out from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.

They set out from Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.

They set out from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.

They set out from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.

They set out from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.

They set out from Terah and camped at Mithkah.

They set out from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.

They set out from Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Hagidgad.

They set out from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.

They set out from Ezion Geber and camped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

And Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the mouth of Jehovah, and died there in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.

And the king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.

They set out from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, at the border of Moab.

They set out from Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.

They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, saying,

then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you, destroy all their carved figures, destroy all their images, and annihilate all their high places;

And you shall divide the land by lot as an inheritance among your families; to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance; there everyone's inheritance shall be whatever falls to him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

Moreover it shall be that I will do to you as I had thought to do to them.

So David fled and escaped, and came to Samuel at Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. And he and Samuel went and stayed in Naioth.

David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And when his brothers and all his father's house heard it, they went down there to him.

And David went from there to Mizpah of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, Please let my father and mother come here with you, till I know what God will do for me.

And the prophet Gad said to David, Do not stay in the stronghold; depart, and go to the land of Judah. So David departed and came into the forest of Hereth.

And David thought in his heart, Now I shall perish one day at the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should slip away to escape to the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me, to seek me anymore in any part of Israel. Thus I shall escape out of his hand.

In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not understanding where he was going.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were foreigners and pilgrims on the earth.

of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.

Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and give ear to my cry. Do not be silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You, a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He who goes forth with weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Return and say to Hezekiah the ruler of My people, Thus says of David your father: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of Jehovah.

My friends scorn me; my eyes pour out tears to God.

for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Your eyes saw my embryo, and in Your book I was enrolled, and all my days had been preordained, when as yet there was nothing.

Then those who feared Jehovah spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And Jehovah gave attention and heard. And a Book of Remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Jehovah, and for those who thought on His name.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.
