In the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing; my soul refused to be comforted.

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

Then they cried out unto Jehovah in their adversity, and He rescued them out of their distresses.

Oh, that men would give thanks unto Jehovah for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the sons of men!

Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and irons;

therefore He humbled their heart with labor; they fell down, and there was no one to help.

And when he was in distress, he entreated Jehovah his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

and prayed to Him; and He was entreated of him, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh recognized that Jehovah was God.

You shall make your supplication to Him, He will hear you, and you shall make good your vows.

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, It is My people, and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

And at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

Is anyone among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.

O magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt His name together.

I sought Jehovah, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

I will go into Your house with burnt offerings; I will make good to You my vows,

I will offer to You burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah.

I cried out unto Him with my mouth, and He was lifted up in praise with my tongue.

Surely God has heard; He has given attention to the voice of my prayer.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,

So Jesus answered and said, Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his way, I will show the salvation of God.

You who fear Jehovah, praise Him! All you seed of Jacob, glorify Him; and fear Him all you seed of Israel!

Let your light so shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.

In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; thus you will be My disciples.

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the words of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and might forever and ever. Amen.

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. According to them He is blasphemed, but according to you He is glorified.
