but turned back and acted unfaithfully like their fathers; they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

The proud have me in great derision, yet I have not turned aside from Your Law.

My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside.

I have not departed from the Commandment of His lips; I have treasured the Words of His mouth more than my prescribed food.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
