Trust in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness.

Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret over him who prospers in his way, because of him who works out wicked devices.

For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait upon Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.

Wait upon Jehovah; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, upon Jehovah!

Do not say, I will recompense evil; wait on Jehovah, and He will save you.

Yet the righteous will take hold on his way, and he who has clean hands shall increase strength.

But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

I have not departed from the Commandment of His lips; I have treasured the Words of His mouth more than my prescribed food.

Let your eyes look straight ahead, and let your eyelids look straight before you.

Do not turn to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil.

The way of the upright is to turn away from evil; he who keeps his way guards his soul.

But he who endures to the end shall be kept safe.

But my horn You have exalted like an oryx; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness stands forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

that the testing of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found unto praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

The Mighty God will likewise destroy you forever; He will take you away, and pluck you out of your tent, and has rooted you out of the land of the living. Selah.

The righteous also shall see and fear, and shall laugh at him, saying,

Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the retribution of the wicked.

My eye also shall see my desire upon my enemies; my ears shall hear my desire upon the wicked who rise up against me.
