i1 [To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] i0 par In You, O Jehovah, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.

O my God, I trust in You; do not let me be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me.

Yea, let none who wait upon You be ashamed; let them be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

They looked to Him, and were radiant; and their faces were not ashamed.

Do not let those who wait upon You, O Lord Jehovah of Hosts, be ashamed because of me; let not those who seek You be put to shame because of me, O God of Israel,

because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

I gave My back to those who strike, and My cheeks to those who pluck; I hid not My face from shame and spitting.

For the Lord Jehovah will help Me; therefore I have not been ashamed. Therefore I have set My face like flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied; and you shall praise the name of Jehovah your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be be put to shame.

And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is no other. And My people shall never be put to shame.

Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly dismayed; let them turn back and be ashamed in a moment.

Let those who seek after my soul be put to shame and dishonored; let those who devise evil against me be turned back and abashed.

Let them be ashamed and abashed together, those who rejoice over my adversity. Let them be clothed with shame and reproach who magnify themselves against me.

Let them be ashamed and abashed together, those who seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to dishonor, those who wish me evil.

Let them be desolate as a consequence of their shame, those who say to me, Aha, aha!

My tongue also shall meditate on Your righteousness all day long; for those who seek evil upon me are abashed; they are brought to shame.

Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Jehovah.

Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever; yea, let them be abashed and perish,

Behold, all those who were enraged against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing. And those who strive with you shall perish.

You shall seek them, and shall not find them; the men striving against you shall be as nothing; at an end.

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they who are makers of idols shall go into disgrace together.

But Israel shall be saved in Jehovah with an everlasting salvation. You shall not be ashamed nor humiliated to everlasting eternity.

Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, My servants will eat, but you shall be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you shall be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you shall be ashamed.

Behold, My servants will sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl because of a crushed spirit.

But Jehovah is with me like a mighty, awesome one. Therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail. They shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not succeed. Their everlasting reproach shall never be forgotten.

And many of those sleeping in the earth's dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting abhorrence.

The dead do not praise YAH, nor any who go down into silence.

He guards the feet of His saints, but the wicked are silent in darkness. For man does not prevail by might.

So he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

And the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
