Oh my soul, you have said to Jehovah, You are my Lord; I have no goodness apart from You.

Jehovah is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my Mighty God, my rock wall, in whom I will trust; He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

i1 [To the Chief Musician. Aijeleth Shahar. A Psalm of David.] i0 par My Mighty God, My Mighty God, why have You forsaken Me, and are far from My deliverance, and from the words of My groaning?

O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not answer; and in the nighttime, and am not silent.

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you murmur within me? Hope in God; for I still praise Him for the deliverance coming from the presence of my God.

When I am afraid I trust in You.

In God (I praise His Word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.

O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!

I will also give thanks unto You with the lute, O my God, for Your faithfulness. To You I will make music with the harp, O Holy One of Israel.

And He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?

Jesus said to her, Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.
