Blessed is Jehovah, for He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a besieged city.

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before Your eyes; but indeed You heard the voice of my supplications, when I cried out to You.

Surely God has heard; He has given attention to the voice of my prayer.

Blessed is God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!

For Jehovah hears the needy, and does not despise His prisoners.

Let the heavens and earth praise Him, the seas, and everything that moves in them.

Then they cry out unto Jehovah in their adversity, and He delivers them out of their distresses.

Oh, that men would give thanks unto Jehovah for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the sons of men!

I love Jehovah, because He has heard my voice and my supplications.

Because He has extended His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him all my days.

I called upon YAH in distress; YAH answered me and set me in a broad place.
