So I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless Jehovah.

Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

I have spread my hands toward You; my soul is like a weary land. Selah

(for Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it, knelt down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward Heaven),

I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

But as for me, I will come into Your house in the abundance of Your mercy; I will bow down in Your fear toward Your holy temple.

I will bow down toward Your holy temple, and give thanks unto Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your Word above all Your name.

And he prepared the inner sanctuary inside the house, to set the ark of the covenant of Jehovah there.

The whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house; also he overlaid with gold the entire altar that was by the inner sanctuary.

Inside the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim of olive wood, each ten cubits high.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the Holy of Holies, under the wings of the cherubim.

The poles extended so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.

Yet regard the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O Jehovah my God, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today:

And may You hear the supplication of Your servant and of Your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Hear in Heaven Your dwelling place; and when You hear, forgive.

And when he had learned that the document was signed, Daniel went to his house. And in his roof room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt on his knees three times a day, and prayed and praised before his God, as he did before.
