i1 [To the Chief Musician. Nehiloth. A Psalm of David.]i0 par Give ear to my words, O Jehovah; consider my meditation.

Lead me, O Jehovah, in Your righteousness, because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face.

Teach me Your way, O Jehovah, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies.

Teach me Your way, O Jehovah; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.

Make me understand the way of Your Precepts; so shall I meditate on Your wondrous works.

Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul unto You.

Now therefore, I pray, if I have found favor in Your eyes, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find favor in Your eyes. And consider that this nation is Your people.

I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice;

And many people shall go and say, Come and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion the Law shall go forth, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

Thus says Jehovah, Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths where the good way is, and walk in it, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.
