My flesh and my heart waste away; but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

CHETH: You are my portion, O Jehovah; I have said that I would keep Your Words.

For Jehovah's portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.

The Portion of Jacob is not like them; for He is the Maker of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance. Jehovah of Hosts is His name.

Jehovah is my portion, says my soul; therefore I will hope in Him.

Upon the wicked He will rain snares, fire and brimstone; and a horrible tempest shall be the portion of their cup.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of Jehovah.

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is debauchery; but be filled by the Spirit,

Yet, I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.

For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.

For the king trusts in Jehovah, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.

You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your presence; Jehovah will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

For they intended evil against You; they devised a plot which they were not able to accomplish.

You will add days to the days of the king; his years unto generations and generations.

He shall abide before God forever; appoint mercy and truth to preserve him.

Your seed I will establish forever, and build up your throne from generation to generation. Selah

I have found David, My servant; with My holy oil I have anointed him;

The enemy shall not exact usury upon him, nor the son of injustice afflict him.

But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, and in My name his horn shall be exalted.

He shall call unto Me, You are my Father, my Mighty God, and the Rock of my salvation.

My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall be established with him.

If his sons forsake My Law and do not walk in My justice,

then I will punish their transgression with the rod, and their perversities with strokes.

My covenant I will not break, nor alter what has gone forth out of My lips.

His seed is forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;

Jehovah shall send the staff of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies.

Jehovah has sworn in truth unto David; He will not turn from it: I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body.

There will I make the horn of David sprout; I have set in place a lamp for My anointed.

His enemies will I clothe with shame, but his crown shall sparkle.

Behold My Servant, whom I uphold; My Elect, in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He shall bring forth justice to the nations.

Therefore I will apportion to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoils with the strong; because He has poured out His soul unto death; and He was reckoned among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

This Jesus, God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins.

For it is necessary for Him to reign till He has put every enemy under His feet.
