i1 [To the Chief Musician. Gittith. A Psalm of David.] i0 par O Jehovah our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens!

When You say, Seek My face, my heart has said unto You, Your face, O Jehovah, I will seek.

But I trusted in You, O Jehovah; I have said, You are my God.

He shall call unto Me, You are my Father, my Mighty God, and the Rock of my salvation.

I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.

O Jehovah our God, masters besides You have had the rule over us; but by You only will we make mention of Your name.

One shall say, I am Jehovah's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall write with his hand, For Jehovah, and be named by the name of Israel.

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined. And I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, It is My people, and they shall say, Jehovah is my God.

And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!

I will take no bull out of your house, nor goats out of your folds;

for every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.

Can a man be of use to the Mighty God, as he who is wise may be profitable to himself?

Is it any pleasure to the Almighty that you are righteous? Or is it gain to Him that you make your ways perfect?

If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or what does He receive from your hand?

Your wickedness is for a man such as yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.

So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.

Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to him?
