He sends forth His command upon the earth; His Word runs very swiftly.

He casts out His hail like morsels; who can stand before His cold?

Then Jehovah rained brimstone and fire upon Sodom and Gomorrah, from Jehovah out of the heavens.

And Moses stretched forth his staff toward the heavens; and Jehovah sent thunder and hail, and fire went to the ground. And Jehovah rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

And the hail struck throughout the whole land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail struck every plant of the field and shattered every tree of the field.

And fire went out from Jehovah and consumed them, and they died before Jehovah.

And a fire came forth from Jehovah and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense.

And it happened, as they fled before Israel and were on the descent of Beth Horon, that Jehovah cast down large hailstones from the heavens upon them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the sons of Israel had killed with the sword.

Listen to hear the thunder of His voice, and the rumbling that comes out of His mouth.

After it a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice, and He does not hold back when His voice is heard.

For He says to the snow, Fall on the earth; likewise to the showers of rain and the showers of heavy rain.

Have you entered the storehouses of snow, or have you seen the storehouses of hail,

By what way is light diffused, or the east wind scattered over the earth?

to cause it to rain on a land where there is no man, a wilderness devoid of mankind;

Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?

The waters harden like stone, and the surface of the deep is stuck together.

Can you bring out the constellations in their seasons? Or can you guide Ursa Major with its sons?

Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, that an abundance of water may cover you?

Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the mind?

For by fire and by His sword Jehovah will judge all flesh; and the slain of Jehovah shall be many.

And I will show signs in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

The Lord Jehovah showed me this: And, behold, the Lord Jehovah called to contend by fire. And it consumed the great deep, and devoured part of it.

And the fourth angel poured out his bowl onto the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has authority over these plagues; and they did not repent to give Him glory.

And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the plague is exceedingly great.

For He commands and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves.

They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.

He calms the storm, so that its waves are still.

And Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and Jehovah brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

And Jehovah turned a very strong wind from the west, which took the locusts away and blew them into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the territory of Egypt.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Jehovah caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.

For, behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind and declares to man what his thought is, He who makes the dawn darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth; Jehovah the God of Hosts, is His name.

But Jehovah hurled a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that they thought the ship would break in pieces.

And, behold, a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

And He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
