O Jehovah my God, many are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts which are toward us; they cannot be recounted to You if I were to declare and speak of them, for they are more than can be numbered.

making merry in the world, His earth; and my delight was with the sons of men.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says Jehovah.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

For I know the thoughts which I am planning for you, says Jehovah; thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies,

How great is Your goodness, which You have treasured up for those who fear You, which You have done for those who trust in You before the sons of men!

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of Your wings.
