And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. Thus it was a cloud and darkness to the one, and it gave light by night to the other, so that the one did not come near the other all that night.

And the people stood at a distance, and Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.

Sheol is naked before Him, and Abaddon has no covering.

There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells in Him.

And there is no creature that is not revealed in His presence, but all things are naked and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must give answer.
