I have made a covenant with My elect, I have sworn unto David My servant:

Your seed I will establish forever, and build up your throne from generation to generation. Selah

Nevertheless in My lovingkindness I will not crush him, nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.

it shall be established forever like the moon, a faithful witness in the clouds. Selah

Jehovah has sworn and will not regret it: You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

And also the Emminence of Israel will not deal falsely nor repent. For He is not a man, to repent.

Thus says Jehovah: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season,

As the host of the heavens cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so I will multiply the seed of David My servant and the Levites who serve Me.

Do you not consider what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah has chosen, He has even cast them off? Thus they have despised My people, that they should no more be a nation before them.

then I will cast away the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will bring back their captives, and have mercy on them.

that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

When your days are fulfilled and you have rested with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

Therefore, Jehovah the God of Israel, now keep what You have promised Your servant David my father, saying, You shall not fail to have a man sitting before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me as you have walked before Me.

Therefore, O Jehovah, God of Israel, now keep what You have spoken to Your servant David my father, saying, You shall not fail to have a man sitting before Me on the throne of Israel, only if your sons take heed to their way, to walk in My Law as you have walked before Me.

and raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,

as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets since the world began,

Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne;
