i1 [A Song of Ascents.] i0 par Those who trust in Jehovah are like Mount Zion, which is not shaken, but remains forever.

i1 [A Song of Ascents for Solomon.] i0 par Unless Jehovah builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless Jehovah guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

i1 [A Song of Ascents of David.] i0 par Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither have I walked in great matters, nor in things beyond my understanding.

i1 [A Song of Ascents of David.] i0 par Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

i1 [A Song of Ascents.] i0 par Behold, bless Jehovah, all you servants of Jehovah, who by night stand in the house of Jehovah.

In my distress I called upon Jehovah, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry came before Him, into His ears.

O Jehovah, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled.

I cried out to You, O Jehovah; and unto Jehovah I made supplication.

and call on Me in the day of trouble; and I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Then they cried out unto Jehovah in their adversity, and He delivered them out of their distresses.

The bands of death have encompassed me, and the distress of Sheol has fallen upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.

Then I called upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech You, deliver my soul!

I called upon YAH in distress; YAH answered me and set me in a broad place.

And they said to him, Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble and of rebuke and of blasphemy! For the children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to bring forth.

It may be that Jehovah your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which Jehovah your God has heard. Therefore, lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messenger, and read it. And Hezekiah went up into the house of Jehovah and spread it before Jehovah.

O Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made the heavens and the earth.

Truly, O Jehovah, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations and their lands,

Now therefore, O Jehovah our God, save us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are Jehovah, You alone.

Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to Jehovah,

Then came the Word of Jehovah to Isaiah, saying,

And he said, I cried out to Jehovah because of my distress, and He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried for help, and You heard my voice.

And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. And His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who had the power to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear,
