Remove from me reproach and contempt, for I have kept Your Testimonies.

I have clung to Your Testimonies; O Jehovah, put me not to shame!

Deliver me from all my transgressions; make me not the reproach of the foolish.

He will send from Heaven, and deliver me from the reproaches of him who would swallow me up. Selah. God will send forth His mercy and His truth.

However, because of this matter in which you have caused contempt, for Jehovah to be spurned by His enemies, the child also who is born to you shall die the death.

Moreover he must have a good testimony with those who are outside, that he not fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Therefore I desire that the younger widows marry, bear children, manage the house, give no opportunity to the adversary for reproach.

sound speech that cannot be condemned, that he who is in opposition may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

My soul breaks with longing for Your Justice at all times.

And do not greatly take the Word of Truth out of my mouth, for I have hoped in Your Justice.

I know, O Jehovah, that Your judgments are right, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.

My eyes have failed for Your salvation, and for the Word of Your righteousness.

I opened my mouth and panted, for I longed for Your Commandments.

The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and altogether just,

And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this Law which I am setting before you this day?

Yea, in the way of Your judgments, O Jehovah, we have waited for You; for the desire of our soul is Your name and the remembrance of You.

But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth upon those who practice such things.

For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her sexual perversities; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.
