KAPH: My soul is spent for Your salvation; I hope in Your Word.

Jehovah, I have hoped for Your salvation, and have done Your Commandments.

I have waited for your salvation, O Jehovah.

Although my house is not so with the Mighty God, yet He has made with me a perpetual covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For all my salvation and all my desire, will He not make it grow?

Hope postponed makes the heart sick, but when desire comes to pass it is a tree of life.

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem: If you find my beloved, that you tell him I am lovesick!

For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man.

O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from the body of this death?

Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

For I am hard pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

I will delight myself in Your Statutes; I will not forget Your Word.

Your Testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.

And I will delight myself in Your Commandments, which I have loved.

Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for Your Law is my delight.

Your Testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

I rejoice at Your Word, as one who finds great spoils.

My soul has kept Your Testimonies, and I love them exceedingly.

But his delight is in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night.
