i1 [A Psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom.]i0 par O Jehovah, how my adversaries have increased! Many are they who rise up against me.

Many are saying of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God. Selah.

Many bulls have encircled Me; strong bulls of Bashan have surrounded Me.

For dogs have surrounded Me; the congregation of the wicked have enclosed Me. They have pierced My hands and My feet.

Consider my enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

My enemies have panted after me daily; for they are many who proudly fight against me.

All the nations have surrounded me, but in the name of Jehovah I will destroy them.

They have surrounded me like bees. They have been quenched like a fire of thorns, for in the name of Jehovah I will destroy them.

Then they will deliver you up to affliction and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.

And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.

For truly against Your holy Son Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

The proud have me in great derision, yet I have not turned aside from Your Law.

The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I have not wandered from Your Precepts.

All this has come upon us; yet we have not forgotten You, nor dealt falsely with Your Covenant.

Yet the righteous will take hold on his way, and he who has clean hands shall increase strength.

My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged, until He has established justice on the earth; and the islands shall wait for His Law.

except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me.

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
