There are many who say, Who will show us any good? Jehovah, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.

Bring us back, O God, and cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!

Bring us back, O God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!

Turn us back, O Jehovah the God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!

Jehovah make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you;

Jehovah lift up His presence upon you, and give you peace.

He shall pray unto God, and He will delight in him; he shall see His face with joy, for He restores to man His righteousness.

And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.

And there shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Blessed are You, O Jehovah! Teach me Your Statutes!

I have declared my ways, and You answered me; teach me Your Statutes.

teach me what I do not see; if I have done injustice, I will do no more?

who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?

Behold, the Mighty God is exalted by His power; who teaches like Him?

And He opened their mind to understand the Scriptures.
