I will call upon Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be delivered from my enemies.

The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of death have confronted me.

Look upon me and be merciful unto me with justice, for I love Your name.

And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

He said to him the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, are you deeply fond of Me? Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, Are you deeply fond of Me? And he said to Him, Lord, You discern all things; You know that I am deeply fond of You. Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep.

We love Him because He first loved us.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

In my distress I called upon Jehovah, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry came before Him, into His ears.

For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before Your eyes; but indeed You heard the voice of my supplications, when I cried out to You.

O love Jehovah, all you His saints; for Jehovah preserves the faithful, and abundantly recompenses the proud doer.

O magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt His name together.

I sought Jehovah, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

i1 [To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] i0 par I waited patiently for Jehovah, and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Surely God has heard; He has given attention to the voice of my prayer.

Blessed is God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!

For Jehovah hears the needy, and does not despise His prisoners.

And Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, Put away the foreign gods that are among you, purify yourselves, and change your garments.

And she said, O my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here to pray unto Jehovah.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
