i1 [To the Chief Musician. Gittith. A Psalm of David.] i0 par O Jehovah our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens!

saying, What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He? They said to Him, The Son of David.

The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool?

And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

Then Jesus answered and said, while He taught in the temple, How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?

Therefore David himself calls Him Lord; how is He then his son? And the large crowd heard Him gladly.

And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and He knelt down and prayed,

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

For David did not ascend into Heaven, but he says himself: The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand,

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,

And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

who has gone into Heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.

Yet, I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.

Ask of Me, and I will give the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness.

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

For it is necessary for Him to reign till He has put every enemy under His feet.

Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself made purification for our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

But to which of the angels has He ever said: Sit at My right hand, till I place Your enemies as Your footstool?

But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,

from that time onward waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.
